Using the finder in six steps

1. Enter your rank and category. Tick PwD if it applies. Open (General) seats are always included; your own category's seats are added on top.
2. Pick the quotas you're eligible for. All India and DNB suit most candidates. Add Deemed paid or NRI only if you'd consider those fees. Delhi University, IP University, BHU, AMU, Armed Forces and the minority quotas have their own eligibility rules.
3. Narrow it down. Choose programmes (MD/MS, DNB, diplomas), college types, states and branches. The branch chart updates as you go, and clicking a bar adds or removes that branch.
4. Read the 2025 allotment. Each seat shows the round in which a rank like yours was allotted it in 2025. It describes what happened last year, not your probability of admission. Click a band in the summary to list only those seats.
5. Check the history. Compare the 2025, 2024 and 2023 last ranks and the trend. A red ! means one year looks unusual, so don't rely on that number.
6. Build your choice list. Star the seats you like, put them in your real order of preference with the arrows, and copy the list when you sit down to fill choices on the MCC site.

Reading a row

Last rank

The worst NEET-PG rank that was allotted that seat in that year, across all rounds. If your rank number is smaller than it, a rank like yours got that seat.

Quota · Cat

The quota of the seat, and which category's last rank is shown. Each row uses whichever of your eligible categories went furthest.

Trend

↗ Easier the last rank rose by over 15% compared with the previous year shown, so a worse rank got in. ↘ Harder it fell by over 15%. → Steady within 15%.

! Red flag

That year's last rank was far beyond the seat's usual range. Tap the row to see the details.

Total seats in the NMC seat matrix for 2026–27, across all quotas. "—" means the college isn't in the matrix yet.

2025 allotment bands

• Allotted in R1 In 2025, a rank like yours got this seat in Round 1.
• Allotted in R2/R3 It was allotted at your rank only in Round 2 or 3, once others moved up.
• Stray round only Only the stray vacancy round went this far. Few seats, and not guaranteed to recur.
• Just missed Your rank was just beyond the last rank, within the margin you picked. Worth listing lower down in case cutoffs shift.

These bands describe past allotments. They are not a probability of admission. Bands are based on the 2025 rounds. If a seat had no 2025 allotment, the latest year with data is used, and the row says which.

Fees, stipends and bonds

Where it's from

Each college's own answers to MCC's 2025 "Participating Institute Details" form (fee, stipend, hostel, refund rules). They're shown as the college wrote them.

Stipend

Per month, for years 1–3. A few colleges entered a yearly figure. Those are divided by 12 and the details say so.

Fee

Per year where the college gave it, otherwise year 1. It's one figure for the whole institute, so clinical and non-clinical courses can differ. "Not reported" means the college left it blank or entered 0.

Bond

"Bond" means MCC has a bond document for that college. Read it before filling choices: service bonds and penalties can run into lakhs.

If you upgrade or resign

What the college deducts on re-allocation, forfeits if you resign or don't join, and refunds. Check this before deciding to upgrade in Round 2 or 3.

Good to know

• Fill choices in the order you'd genuinely prefer, not by how likely you are to get them. Counselling allots your highest-ranked available choice.
• List more options than you think you need, including a few "just missed" seats and some safer ones.
• Ranks aren't directly comparable across years. Seat numbers, candidate numbers and paper difficulty all change.
• 2023 data covers Round 1 and the Stray round only, so 2023 last ranks can look lower than they really ended.
• Rows with ×1 (a single allotment) can swing a lot from year to year.
• Always confirm seat lists, fees, bonds and rules on mcc.nic.in.
